Basic Do it yourself Development : Converting The Everyday Battles Directly into Miracles.

Songwriter Peter Mayer writes –“Thus, the hard thing becomes, not to look for miracles, but discovering where there isn’t one.”

You might believe that’s an overstatement. Most men and women think of miracles as matters that occurred in Biblical times. Since we do not take some opportunity to check out the world around us. And, for some reason, when given a choice we look at life in a negative rather than a favorable light.

We all go through hard times. If we did not, there wouldn’t be much point to life. If you seize the moment, the best lessons come from the biggest challenges. My answer to hard times is to always give appreciation for what I have, where the alternative is to whine about what I don’t have. But in a really difficult stretch, it becomes harder to find things to have gratitude for.

I often wind up feeling grateful for these particularly hard times. You understand how many items you simply take for granted throughout the times when you need to dig deep to find something to be thankful for. If you sit quietly for some time and just observe the world around you, it will not take long to understand that nearly everything’s a miracle.

Or, if you’re like me and you’ve got a 4 year old, you receive daily reminders of the fact that what is a miracle. The only real answer I have for a lot of her continuous questions recently is”it’s a miracle.”

It is a miracle. We planted tiny little ugly brown seeds within an egg carton this spring. How can they develop into the gorgeous flowers pictured on the seed package? It’s a miracle. Why does the sun set? Miracle. Why does it snow in the spring? Miracle. Another miracle.

Of course there are complex scientific explanations for almost all of these things.

With millions of people in the world a course in miracles lesson 1 how do we fulfill the love of our life? How can we find a friend that knows just what to say at just the perfect moment? How are we able to proceed following the death of a parent, or even worse yet, a child? How can a puppy enable a blind man to live as if he had been sighted?

Well, I could go on, but hopefully you get the point. Since most people do not get the point. And if you are not”to” self improvement and personal growth, you might never stop long enough to understand the point. Life is so complete and so hard and so feverish, that it’s simpler to overlook the fact that miracles are everywhere and in everything.

This is the trick to self improvement without altering anything other than your understanding of the world. Just open up your eyes to the miracles around you.

If somebody asked me how my day was, by way of example, I could react by telling them that it was a miserably cold and rainy afternoon, and my kids were tired of staying up too late, and getting everybody up and dressed to take my kid to college was a real battle.

And that I could laugh about how my two year old ran around the house in my high heels that afternoon as I attempted to chase him down and get his shoes on him. And I could share how much fun my daughter had at college stomping in the mud puddles and locating the post-rain worms wriggling on the sidewalk. I could marvel in the rainbow.

It is me. I can’t control my kids’ moods. I can not control the weather. But I do control how I see the world. And how I tell the story, even if just to myself within my head. I am able to view life as a struggle or as a miracle.

Why does this matter? The brief answer is that part of the goal of self improvement would be to be joyful. And being happy just for the sake of being happy is a good thing. Seeing the world for a miracle is critical to your internet business success. I’ll share why in my next post.
